Man found dead on tracks in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 19: Tatanagar Government Rail Police (GRP) recovered the beheaded body of a 45 year-old man, identified as Gyan Bahadur, from the railway tracks near Tata Pigments company in Jugsalai on Thursday.

The deceased was identified with the help of an Aadhar card and a train ticket found in his pocket. He was a native of Assam, police said.

Cops suspect the deceased fell from a running train and met his tragic end by coming under its wheels. They said they had informed the relatives of the deceased about the incident.

The body was sent to MGM Medical College for postmortem examination, police said.
