Jamshedpur, Nov 14: Life is meaningless without devotion. Lord Shri Krishna shared two fistfuls of rice with his friend Sudama and blessed him with all the fortunes of the world. Sudamas life opens our eyes to the fact that every mortal has to face the ups and downs of life he or she has to face impediments and also gains fortune in the course of life. While on lifes journey, one should recollect Lord Rams name in whatever deed is done. Maharaj Parikshit abdicated his worldly possessions and sought the solace of Bhagwat Katha thereby attaining Mukti or Nirvana. God deeply loves His devotees who lay absolute faith on Him, observed Acharya Hariji Maharaj on Thursday, the seventh and concluding day of the week long Bhagwath Katha program organized at the Pritam Memorial Maidan on Slag Road in Patel Nagar, Bhuinyadih by Shri Hari Govind Seva Samiti.

Hariji today gave a detailed narration on the character of Bhakt Sudama, Parikshit Mokshya, Shukradev Vidai and Yogeshwar Samvad. Explaining the concept of Guru, the Acharya from Vrindavan said, There are many Gurus who impart education but there is only one Guru who initiates one into religious philosophy. He who joins the soul to God is the actual Guru. Like devotion, life is meaningless without a Guru who initiates. Without education the world is incomplete. Water is colourless, it assumes the colour of the liquid you mix it with or the colour of the container it is poured into. Our life should be like water and this can only happen when one seeks out a Guru and gets attached to him.
The culmination of the seven day Srimad Bhagwat Katha today saw social worker Amarprit Singh kale, Pawan Agrawal, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Gunjan Yadav, Dr SK Tiwary and Ramesh Nag being felicitated by the Samiti. Todays hosts were Govind Saroj, Nand Singh, Shriram Saroj, Dilip Singh, Hari Om Saroj, Dr SK Tiwary, Mahesh Kumar, Shanti Tiwary, Savita Sinha, Hansa Saroj, Shyam Khandelwal, Asim Das and Sanjay Singh.
