Man dies after being hit by bus in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 1: A middle aged man Dhaneshwar Kumar died after being hit by a bus at the Mango bus stand. He used to sell goods on the handcart at the bus stand premises. He was a resident of Chhaya Nagar Sitaramdera police station area. He originally was a resident of Hazaribagh. He had three daughters and a son. After the mishap, the people of Chhayanagar started protesting. There was a crowd of people at MGM Hospital. The Ashirwad bus running from Sahibganj on the Jamshedpur route was parked in the Mango bus stand. Adjacent to the bus, Dhaneshwar had kept a cart. The driver was escorting the bus out of the stand.

People staged a protest in front of Sitaramdera police station. The deceased’s relatives have been informed about the incident, whose body will be cremated after his family reaches Jamshedpur from Hazaribagh. Police questioned several people in the bus stand premises regarding the matter. The driver and the driver succeeded in escaping.
