Jamshedpur: A static surveillance team (SST) of East Singhbhum district administration caught one Ghanshyam Verma with cash worth Rs 8.13 lakh during checking in Zone Number 3, Birsanagar, on Saturday.
The team, led by magistrate Binod Kumar Mahato and ASI Dinesh Kumar, said the man claimed to be a Sahara India agent. The cash was recovered from Verma�s scooter near Teen Kuan Maidan area. Verma said he was going to deposit the cash in bank.
