Man bludgeoned to death in Jamshedpur; family suspects personal enmity

Jamshedpur: Panic spread in the Kapali OP area near Mango on Tuesday afternoon after a body was discovered. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Hussain, a resident of Ansar Nagar. Preliminary investigations suggest that Hussain was brutally murdered by being bludgeoned with a stone.

Local residents informed the police immediately upon discovering the body. A police team soon arrived at the spot and began an investigation. A liquor bottle was also recovered from the scene. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
According to the victim’s family, Hussain worked as a Paris putty technician and was scheduled to leave for Hyderabad for work on the same day. In the morning, he received a phone call from a friend and left the house on his motorcycle.
Family members further revealed that Hussain had a dispute three days ago with a youth named Afaaq, who had allegedly fired shots during the altercation. Out of fear, Hussain did not report the incident to the police. The family suspects that Afaaq may be behind the murder.
