Ranchi: Garhwa police arrested a man with cash worth Rs 60,000 from Vishrampur village under Ranka police station area on Friday.
The superintendent of police, Sudhir Kumar Jha said the youth has confessed to his involvement in collecting extortion money from local contractors.
He said action will be taken against the contractor in case his association with Naxalites in any manner is proved in the course of investigation. He said cops were making a list of contractors who were close to Naxalites.
