Major Naxalite Conspiracy Unveiled: Plans to Expand Activities in Jharkhand and Other States Exposed

Ranchi: In a significant development, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) recently apprehended five Naxalites – Tara Devi, Lallu Ram, Satya Prakash, Rammurat, and Vinod Sahni – during a clandestine meeting in Ballia. Shockingly, documents recovered from the arrested individuals have brought to light a far-reaching conspiracy orchestrated by Naxalites.

According to the disclosed documents, the arrested Naxalites were intensifying their activities in Uttar Pradesh, specifically in Ballia, Azamgarh, Varanasi, and Chandauli, following directives from Central Committee leaders. The uncovered plot reveals a sinister agenda to extend Naxalite influence and establish CPI-Maoist rule by expanding operations across districts in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh. The recovered diary contained details of encounters with Naxalites and information on funding channels for the organization.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken charge of the case and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
Further revelations indicate that Pramod Mishra, a Central Committee member of the CPI Maoist Naxalite organization, formed an adhoc committee. The investigation exposes an ongoing recruitment drive led by Santosh Verma alias Mantosh, the organization’s secretary in Ballia, recruiting men and women in various districts of Purvanchal. The recruits were allegedly being trained in weapon use in the forests, with plans to escalate an anti-government movement into an armed insurgency.

One of the arrested Naxalites, Tara Devi, alias Manju, alias Manisha, has been active in Naxalite activities for 18 years. She was deeply involved in recruiting new members and mobilizing support for the Naxalite cause. Tara was responsible for collecting donations, levies, and weapons to further the objectives of the CPI Maoist and establish a Naxalite government. The revelation of this intricate plot underscores the continued threat posed by Naxalite activities in the region.
