Magistrates and police deployed at 16 picnic spots across Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec 29: East Singhbhum administration has deployed magistrates and police forces at 16 different places across the district in view of the ongoing picnic season. The deployment order will take effect from 30^th December and would remain in force till 8^th January 2023, sources said.

Sources said the magistrates and police officials have been asked to keep an eye on hooligans during picnic celebrations. The magistrates have been asked to control crowds at public places in view of the threat of breakout of the new variant of Omicron, BF.7.

The deployments have been made near Dimna Lake, Haludbani, Jubilee Park, Modi Park, Hudco Dam, Theme Park Telco, Sidhgora Park, Bhatia Park Kadma, Domuhani, Jadugora Rankini Mandir, Rajdoha Bridge Narwa Mines, Galudih Dam and Burudih Dam.
