Jamshedpur, Dec 29: A team of Excise department conducted raid in Oraon Basti under Sitaramdera police station area late Wednesday night and arrested three persons with illicit liquor. Quick Response Team (QRT) of the district accompanied the Excise team. Excise officials said they had seized 16 bottles of whiskey, 27 bottles of beer and 10 litres of Mahua liquor. They said the campaign against illicit liquor would continue in the days to come. Yesterday’s raid was carried out on the basis of a tip-off, officials said.
