Magistrate, security personnel at every JPSC exam centre

24 examination centers in Chaibasa, 15 in Chakradharpur

Chaibasa, Sept16:  JPSC 2021 exam will be conducted in 39 centers in West Singhbhum district on Sunday, September 19. Examination centers have been set up at two places in the district. 24 centers have been set up in Chaibasa while 15 others in Chakradharpur. A total of 9,447 candidates will appear for their JPSC exams at these 39 centers.

Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal held a review meeting at Birsa Memorial Hall of Tata College on Thursday to review preparations for holding the examinations. Police officials, magistrates and education department officers participated in planning a strategy to ensure peaceful and fair atmosphere at the 39 JPSC examination centres distributed in Chaibasa and Chakradharpur.

 During the review meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that a magistrate and police force will be at each examination centre and made a particular mention that any form of unfair means adopted in the course of the examinations of Sunday, September 19 would not be tolerated. He said that it would be the responsibility of each center superintendent to ensure a free, fair and peaceful examination. CCTV cameras will be installed in all the examination centers. Monitoring should be done at all times. Drinking water facilities should be provided at each examination Centre invigilators will have to sign a mandatory bond declaring no relative was appearing in the exams and if such declarations are found to be untrue action would be initiated against such erring invigilators. The DC directed that all arrangements including proper seating, light, drinking water should be in place well ahead of September 19.  Police department has been instructed to ensure that there was no traffic bottlenecks at major junctions so that candidates could easily make their way to their allotted examination centres. ADC Ejaz Anwar was also present during the meeting.
