Jamshedpur, Aug 12: Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, social worker and ardent fan of actress Madhuri Dixit, Pappu Sardar, distributed over 1,000 free national flags in Sakchi Bazaar on Tuesday. Along with the tricolour, he also handed out tricolour badges, caps, wristbands, hairbands and dupattas to women. Many passersby praised his patriotic gesture. Speaking at the event, Pappu said, “I have no interest in politics. This is a small effort in response to the Prime Minister’s appeal, to ensure that those who cannot afford to buy a flag can still celebrate our national festival with joy.”
