Jamshedpur: The students of Upgraded Middle School, Tangrain under Potka block, got more than a hundred copies of Chakmak, a magazine for kids, on Wednesday, courtesy Maati, a city-based outfit.
Subhashish Chakravarty of Maati interacted with the students and spoke on the importance of education. He motivated them to read more and more books and also develop a flair for writing.
He handed over the magazines to the school Principal Arbind Tiwary and talked about the school�s activities.
Social worker Tarun Kumar was also present on the occasion. He spoke to the kids on the importance of library.
Those present during the event included Amal Kumar Dixit, Sanjeet Ghosh, Vishwajeet Sardar, Rajendra Singh Munda, Niranjan Sardar, Dashmat Tudu, Baleshwar Sardar, Sumita Munda and Sanat Mandal.
