LS polls: Workshop held for sector officers of East Singhbhum

Jamshedpur, March 27: A training programme was organized for sector officers of East Singhbhum at Michael John auditorium in Bistupur on Wednesday. The officers were given training on using electronic voting machines (EVMs) and VVPAT units. A mock poll was conducted for them. During the training, they were given technical information about the EVMs and VVPAT machines in order to enable them to conduct the polls successfully.

The officials at the workshop said a slew of voters� awareness programmes were being run in the district to ensure maximum turnout of voters.

Among those present during the workshop included the district Panchayat Raj Officer Dr Rajnikant Mishra, CO of Patamada and Assistant Director (Panchayat).
