Loyola School student tops Jamshedpur in JEE Advanced, secures AIR 409

Jamshedpur, June 18: The city of Jamshedpur takes pride in the remarkable achievements of its students in the JEE Advanced examination conducted by IIT Guwahati this year. Once again, students from Jamshedpur have showcased their exceptional talent. Out of approximately 300 students residing in the city and its surrounding areas, a significant number have attained success in JEE Advanced-2023. Tushar Kumar Sinha, a resident of Subarnarekha Flat in Sakchi, has emerged as the city topper by securing an impressive 409th rank.

Tushar, a recent graduate of Loyola School in Bistupur, passed the 12th board examination this year with flying colors. His remarkable achievement of securing an All India Rank of 409 in JEE Advanced is a testament to his hard work and dedication. Tushar’s father, Arun Kumar Sinha, serves as a Senior Associate in CRM at Tata Steel, while his mother, Chandraprabha, is a homemaker.

Other notable achievers from Jamshedpur and its vicinity include Rudra Sinha (rank 483), Manmath Mishra (rank 732), Asmit Chauhan (rank 810), Shaurya Raj (rank 2218), Shiven Sharma (rank 2700), Aritra Korai (rank 2816), Sumit Kumar (rank 379), and Archisha Pal (rank 8699). These students have secured commendable ranks in the JEE Advanced examination.

It is worth mentioning that the JEE Advanced exam opens doors to approximately 16,538 seats across 23 IITs in the country. Additionally, admission to IIT ISM Dhanbad, which offers 1,125 seats, is also facilitated through this examination. Among the seats at IIT ISM Dhanbad, 118 are reserved for female students under the super numerical quota. Furthermore, online registration for the Architecture Aptitude Test can be completed on Sunday (June 18) and Monday (June 19). The Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) process is anticipated to commence on June 19. The Architecture Aptitude Test is scheduled to take place on June 21, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, with the results being announced on June 24
