Loyola School spreads message of �Sports a way of life�

Jamshedpur, Nov. 22: Students of Loyola School spread the message of �Sports a way of life� during Annual Sports Meet of the junior section organised at the school campus. Students from junior sections were especially dressed as footballers displayed drilling skills on the ground.

They also presented a unique colourfulshows and drill that was based on sports a way of life. Anoop Birtharay, senior superintendent of police, East Singhbhum inaugurated the sports meet.

Father Pius Fernandes, principal of Loyola School inspected the four house contingents of Loyola School. The inauguration was followed by a march past by members of the four houses– Cheetahs; Leopards; Panthers; Jaguars.

Birtharay congratulated the school authorities and students for organising the great event.
A total of 1,500 primary school children (from classes I to V) participated in the field display based on the theme.

Vineeta F Ekka, co-ordinator of junior section of the school said that it was result of team effort. The children had put lot of efforts for the event. The Loyola spirit was at display at the school ground.

The school also organised a 100 m, 200 m, 4×100 m relay, javelin throw, shotput, discus throw long jump, short jump, hurdle race, and other games divided into junior and senior categories.
