“Mummy solved all my doubts” says national topper
Jamshedpur, April 30: In a moment of immense pride for Jamshedpur, Loyola School’s Shambhavee Jayaswaal has emerged as the ICSE country topper, securing a perfect average of 100% in the Class 10 board examinations. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the results for both ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) today.

Shambhavee’s remarkable achievement has brought laurels not only to her school but also to the city of Jamshedpur, which has consistently performed well in board examinations over the years. Her flawless performance places her at the top among thousands of students who appeared for the ICSE examinations across India.
Shambhavee’s success story stands out for her reliance on self-study, without any coaching or external classes. “Mummy solved all my doubts. Because of her, I moved forward without stopping,” Shambhavee shared with a smile, acknowledging her mother’s continuous support and guidance during her preparation.

A student of discipline, consistency, and focus, Shambhavee meticulously studied each subject, dedicated time to regular practice, and worked diligently on improving her weaknesses. Her mother, Dr. Ojaswi Shankar, a senior gynaecologist and associate professor at Manipal Tata Medical College, was her constant guide. Her father, Dr. Abhishek Jayaswaal, is the head of the radiology department at Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital. Coming from a home deeply rooted in education and medical excellence, Shambhavee drew daily inspiration from her parents.

“When we came to know that Shambhavee had topped the entire country, we couldn’t believe it,” said Dr. Abhishek Jayaswaal. “We always knew she was a bright student, but becoming the national topper feels like a dream. We are thankful to God and proud of her dedication.”

Shambhavee’s accomplishment is a result of her structured approach to studies. She set small goals for herself every day and completed them diligently. “I believed in regular study and learning from my mistakes. I didn’t let any question go unanswered and made sure I understood every concept fully,” she said.

Apart from academics, Shambhavee is also passionate about painting. “Painting gives me peace. When I’m with my colors and canvas, I feel relaxed and refreshed,” she said. A multi-talented student, she aims to pursue computer science engineering and dreams of making a mark in the world of technology.

The announcement of the ICSE results on Wednesday, April 30, brought a wave of celebration to Loyola School. Teachers, students, and staff erupted in applause when the news of Shambhavee’s national rank was confirmed. The school Principal described it as “the proudest moment in the school’s history.”

“Shambhavee has made us all proud. Her dedication, humility, and discipline are qualities that every student can learn from,” said a senior teacher at Loyola. The school organized a special gathering to celebrate her success, with classmates and teachers showering her with appreciation.

Shambhavee’s journey proves that hard work, time management, and family support are more powerful than expensive coaching or study materials. Her success stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration for millions of students across India, especially those from smaller towns.

Her story shows that excellence can emerge from anywhere, and with the right mindset, guidance, and environment, even the loftiest goals are within reach.

As Jamshedpur celebrates this historic achievement, Shambhavee Jayaswaal has become a symbol of what India’s daughters can accomplish with determination, discipline, and support. She has not only brought laurels to her school and state but has also inspired an entire generation of young learners.
