Jamshedpur, April 27: Loyola School on Saturday celebrated Freshers’ welcome event at the Fasy Auditorium, featuring a vibrant series of performances and activities that showcased the students’ diverse talents. The event began with an engaging introduction by the anchors, followed by a musical performance from the Loyola Band, setting the tone for the evening.
A classical dance performance, inspired by the theme of a river, highlighted the students’ grace and coordination. The program also included a lively filmy quiz and a competitive ramp walk contest.
The cultural segment featured a thematic dance, where the performer shared insights into the creative process behind the act. Another dance performance depicted the emotional journey of a student, from signing farewell shirts to starting afresh at a new school and building new friendships. A musical jugalbandi, combining vocal and flute performances, added a rich musical layer to the event.
The winners of the ramp walk competition were: 1st Position: Mantra Mishra and Riya Ekka, 2nd Runners Up: Aditya Sharma and Adya Agarwal, 3rd Runners Up: Akshat Vedant and Zaina Khan.
Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, addressed the gathering and shared a few inspiring words for the freshers.
The event marked an exciting beginning for the new students at Loyola School, setting the stage for their journey ahead.
