Loyola School Launches Academic Session with 2-Day Orientation

Jamshedpur: Loyola School kicked off the new academic year with an energetic two-day Orientation Programme and Parents’ Meeting on March 25 and 26. The event successfully united school management, teachers, parents, and students from Classes VI to XII to reinforce their shared commitment to holistic education.

Strategic Vision and Environmental Goals

Principal Rev. Fr. Vinod Fernandes opened the sessions by sharing the school’s core mission: nurturing students to think critically, act with compassion, and lead with integrity. He specifically highlighted the progress of the Tarumitra Project, underscoring the school’s ongoing dedication to environmental responsibility. Following his address, the school introduced the class teachers, identifying them as the primary mentors for the year ahead.

Academic Roadmap and Innovation

Vice Principal (Senior Section) Jayanthi Sheshadri outlined a modern academic roadmap for the upcoming session. She introduced several key reforms and projects:

The school counselor addressed vital aspects of student health, advising parents on managing screen time and supporting emotional well-being. The school encouraged parents to remain approachable and sensitive to the evolving challenges students face today.
