Loyola School Hosts ‘Career Compass 2.0’ for Future Leaders

Jamshedpur: Loyola School, in collaboration with the Loyola Alumni Association, organized “Career Compass 2.0” on Saturday, providing students from Classes 9 to 12 with a strategic roadmap for their professional futures. The initiative serves as a cornerstone of the school’s alumni mentorship program, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry reality.

Alumni Mentorship and Vision

The event opened with a welcome address by Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes SJ. Rector Fr. Michael T. Raj and the Principal honored 10 speakers and 28 alumni mentors for their commitment to nurturing the next generation. Moderated by alumnus Ronald D’Costa, the session encouraged students to “Dream, Discover, and Design” their career paths.

Eminent professionals shared deep-dive insights into ten diverse sectors:

• AI & Business: Insights from Ishaan Ahuja and Dr. Rahul Shukla (XLRI).

• Medicine & Psychology: Guidance from Dr. Sanjeet Roy and Fr. Dr. Joseph Matthews (XLRI).

• Aviation & Law: Perspectives from Col. Deepak Rawal (Tata Steel) and advocate Rishi Bhatnagar.

• Specialized Fields: Sessions on Sports Management with Mukul Choudhari, Finance with Dr. Ameet K. Banerjee, and Architecture with Gurjeet Singh Dogra.

Following the auditorium briefing, students engaged in domain-specific classroom sessions for personalized advice. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Rajiv Talwar, leaving students equipped with newfound clarity and professional direction.
