Loyola School crowned overall champion of ‘Quantum’ at LFS

Jamshedpur, August 17: ‘They did it again’, students of Loyola School once again proved their mettle at the inter-school competition hosted by Little Flower School (LFS) in Telco on Friday, August 14.

This time it was ‘Quantum’ annual inter-school Science Fest organized by the Science Club of LFS, where 11 schools from the city had participated and performed to much praise. Loyola School was crowned the overall championship trophy as it was the winner of most of nine events held during the contest.

A variety of Science-related events were held including SCI-FLIX (Video making) were Hill Top School was declared the winner while DBMS was the runner-up. In Express science (extempore) Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya came out first while KPS Kadma was second.

In Science 0 Canvas (poster making) Jamshedpur Public School came out winner followed by Gulmohar School. Loyola School came first in Science Tax (puzzle) while Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya was second. In Web Tech- Hill Top School was first while Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya was second.

Loyola won the Debate contest followed by Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya. In Woven words- Hill Top School was the winner while Loyola came close second.

In Quiz – Loyola was the winner, Gulmohar second and Hill Top School came third. DDX Differential Diagnosis (event for budding doctors)- Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya was first while Sacred Heart Convent girls came second.

The event started around 9 in the morning which saw participation of more than 200 students from 11 different city schools. Prize Distribution function was held at 1:00 pm in the Auditorium.
