Loyola School bags ‘Best Delegation’ award at DBMUN Conference

Jamshedpur, Nov. 5: Loyola School bagged the best delegation award at Model United Nations Conference organised by DAV Public School, Bistupur in the school premises.
Best Commendation award was won by UNSC-Lok Sabha committee which comprised of Aditya Nath and Abdullah Farukh.

Asparsh Mishra received the Best photographer award while Shreya Shukla and Nikhil Kumar were adjudged the best journalist honor.

United Nations Security Council committee discussed about the ‘Establishment of UN Military observers in South China sea’.

The delegates of the different member nations put forth their arguments in the form of intense verbal sparring. The first country to present its working paper was the USA. The superpower suggested that the UN follow the policy of assigning territories as per geographical proximity. The member nations along with the Secretary General simulated the following resolutions: Establishment of UN Military Observers in the South China Sea, Calls for joint development authorities in overlapping areas, Designates the Kalyan island in the spartly to the Philippines and parcels part given to PRC and rest to give to ROC.

The Lok Sabha session discussed about ‘State of emergency imposed over conflict with China’ and commenced the discussion on the agenda “BJP bracing the state of emergency imposed by the government.” The opposition made a cacophorous remark stating that “the state of emergency has really affected our economy and adversely affected the GDP.”

Congress leaders strongly asserted that BJP leaders should keep their ego aside and talk to China so that the matter gets solved with negotiations and peaceful conventions. Its quite cynical to see that the members of parliament are busy brewing the blame game without caring about the integrity of the people.

The Lok sabha in its two days of gruelling and brain storming session, discussed on various issues ranging from the Imposition of Emergency as well as the achievements and failures of the Government. The Committee has reached a consensus that China is a threat to India and the emergency should be continued.

North Korea kicked up a storm about its supposed investment in ‘human intelligence’ in the very first session of day 2. This happened when the delegates entered an unmoderated caucus about ‘Measures to prevent A.I. threats.’ Commercialization of A.I. was also discussed, with Saudi Arabia advocating for robots to have altruistic values, which could possibly make them subservient to humans.

The United Nations Special Summit provided plausible methods to control the AI explosion.

Reaffirming the Article 5 of the UN Charter all the member nations should provide every assistance in all the actions that the UN takes to prevent the inevitable growth of cognitive machine learning.

The two day DBMUN concluded with the press conference of the Executive Board and the International Press members followed by socials and delegates’ dinner.
