Jamshedpur, Nov. 3: A health awareness programme �Tandoorust� was organized by Arushi Mishra, a student from Loyola School studying in Class X, in the village Harisundarpur, which is adopted by Jusco and Rotary Club (West).
Arushi has been selected to represent Jamshedpur in Horlicks Wizkids, 2015. As part of her project she needs to organize health and nutrition programme for the underprivileged children. She visited the children of Harisundarpur village to educate them about health and nutrition.
The children were shown a documentary on nutritious food values and the benefits of hand-washing. After this, a magic show and some games on the theme �Health and Nutrition� were organized in order to convey the message to the children in an attractive and playful way. The event culminated with a Rossagulla Party.
The corporate social responsibility (CSR) team of Jusco under the leadership of Ms Preeti Sehgal participated and helped Arushi in conducting the programme.
