Lover rapes minor girl on pretext of marriage in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Mar 18: A  case of establishing sexual relations with a minor girl on the pretext of marriage and then aborting after she became pregnant and ultimately refusal to marry has surfaced in Parsudih area. 
A complaint has been lodged by the victim at the Parsudih thana on Thursday against her so-called paramour Raja Hansda, a resident of Bahagarh in Khasmahal and his mother Reja Hansda.
According to police, Reja Hansda knew about her son’s habit but did not put pressure on her son to marry the girl and tried to hide the entire incident. 
As per the victim’s complaint with the police, she was in contact with Raja Hansda since 2020 and they used to frequent each other house and during this time Raja gave her promise of marriage and established physical relation, when she became pregnant he pressurised her for abortion promising that they will get married soon. But thereafter despite several attempt by the minor girl to force him for marriage he refused to get married. He again established physical relation with the minor girl on March 15. 
Police claim that marriage is possible only after the girl attains the age of 18 years and the police will arrest the accused after investigation.
