Transport minister nod for elevated corridor between Baliguma-Pardih in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Mar 18: Jamshedpur MP and BJP leader Bidyut Baran Mahato on Thursday met Union highway and road transport minister Nitin Gadkari at Delhi over the issue of construction of elevated corridor between Baliguma and Pardih along NH-33 and requested for speeding up construction work. 

The Jamshedpur MP claimed that the Union minister sought information from NHAI chief general manager Aditya Prakash about the elevated corridor project and on Thursday gave nod for the project paving way for the construction work of the project. 

Significantly, Jamshedpur MP had met the Union minister in the recent days about the project and the problem faced by the masses due to the non-completion of the project. According to NHAI officials, the design of the elevated corridor would be prepared by L&T. The MP also requested the Union minister to make the elevated corridor six lane instead of four-lane. The Union minister asked the NHAI officials to ensure that the design is drawn in such a manner keeping in view the traffic volume for the next 30-50 years and directed for completion of the existing work between Baliguma and Paridih within 10-12 days. 
The construction of the elevated corridor would solve the problem of service lanes and problems of utility services and would solve the problem of traffic congestion along the NH-33 stretch crossing the city. 

Demand to promote solar energy in Jharkhand

Jamshedpur : MP Bidhyut Baran Mahto met Union Energy Minister RK Singh today and discussed various issues with him. Out of this, he mainly asked to promote solar energy in Jharkhand and urged to explore its potential. MP told RK Singh during the discussion that Jharkhand has immense potential to produce solar energy. There are many places here where solar panels can be produced in large quantities by installing solar panels.

RK Singh gave his in-principle agreement on the suggestion of MP Mahto and said that he will definitely try for it in Jharkhand and will visit Jharkhand soon in the near future and will try to give concrete shape to this possibility.

Kalia Dinga Check of Bahargora to be resolved

Jamshedpur: MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, during his meeting with Union Road Transport and State Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari today, discussed the Kalia Dinga check of Bahragora and told him that the check is similar to the confluence of Triveni. After road construction and highway construction, a large number of accidents are happening at this place due to which there is a lot of fear and resentment in the general public. Taking cognizance of the matter, Gadkari immediately directed CGM Aditya Prakash to visit the said site immediately and resolve it.
