The minister said that government is trying to pay compensation to the villagers in a phased wise manner depending on the availability of amount by increasing the level of water in the Chandil Dam. In the first phase there is a provision of payment of compensation to the villagers affected by water level of 185 meter and they will be paid compensation by March 2023.
She also asked if due to the payment of displacement issue the MLA fund projects are not being allowed in the 116 villages falling in the affected area.
