Nitin Nabin calls for organizational revival
Ranchi, June 7: On the second day of his Jharkhand visit, BJP National President Nitin Nabin emphasized strengthening the party organization and expressed confidence that the BJP would regain its former political strength in the state.
Addressing a meeting of BJP office-bearers and members of the media and social media wings at the party’s state headquarters in Ranchi, Nabin said the BJP’s “lotus” would bloom once again in Jharkhand. The meeting was attended by BJP Jharkhand State President Aditya Sahu, Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi, and other senior leaders.
Speaking to the media, Nabin said the BJP played a key role in the creation of Jharkhand and remained committed to its development. He described Ranchi as the party’s “second home” and called upon workers to resolve that the BJP would return to its earlier prominence in the state.
The National President stressed the importance of energizing booth-level workers, stating that the party’s return to power depended on a strong and active grassroots organization. He said the current leadership team had been formed with the 2029 elections in mind and urged workers to begin preparations immediately by learning from past electoral experiences.
Nabin maintained that Jharkhand had historically been a BJP stronghold and said that while the party did not achieve the desired results in the previous election, it remained deeply connected with the people. He called for transforming disappointment into renewed enthusiasm and directed party leaders to strengthen organizational structures through Shakti Kendra meetings, expansion of party wings down to the Mandal level, and the creation of teams of at least 100 active workers in every Mandal.
He also instructed district presidents to reconnect senior and veteran party workers with organizational activities, emphasizing that the party’s interests must always remain above individual ambitions. According to Nabin, stronger coordination between senior and younger workers would further strengthen the organization.
