Jamshedpur School Admission: Lottery from Jan 6-20, result on January 21

Jamshedpur, Jan 5: Various private schools of the city will be organizing lottery for admission in Nursery and LKG between 6^th and 20^th January this year. The private schools have decided the mode of lottery at their own level. However, they have given written information in this regard to the district education department, sources said.

The result of lotteries for admission would be issued on 21^st January. Guardians and representatives of education department would be present during the lottery process which would be videographed, sources said.

Meanwhile, district education department has prepared a team of observers who will be present during the lottery process in different schools. Almost half of the city schools have informed the education department about lottery. But most of them have not disclosed the date of lottery, sources said.

Education department has directed all schools to furnish information about the date and timing of lottery planned by them. The admission results will be published both online and offline.

District Superintendent of Education (DSE) Nishu Kumari said efforts are being made to ensure transparency in the lottery process.

Lottery dates of schools announced: KSMS- January 7, Tagore Academy- January 7, DAV Public School Bishtupur- January 10, Gulmohar High School- January 10, Vidya Bharti Chinmaya School- January 12, KPS Mango- January 12, JH Tarapore School-January 12, Jusco School South Park-January 16, DBMS English School- January 16,Tarapore School- January 17, DBMS High School- January 17, Jamshedpur Public School-January 19.
