Jamshedpur: A grand procession was organised by Jamshedpur Yadav Samaj on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The procession, marked with devotional fervour, started from Agrico Ground and concluded at Sakchi Mango Garden.
As part of the celebrations, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Mahabir Murmu, along with Goldy Tiwari and Anand Srivastava, was felicitated by Yadav Samaj near Sakchi Gurudwara with a shawl and a memento featuring Lord Krishna and Radha Ji.
Addressing the gathering, Mahabir Murmu said that Lord Krishna was born in Dwapar Yug to end tyranny and corruption. He highlighted various divine episodes from Krishna’s life, including the slaying of Kansa, the playful Bal Leelas in Gokul, and his role as Arjun’s charioteer in the Mahabharata, where he ensured the victory of truth.
Prominent members of Yadav Samaj including Sagar Rai, Pratap Kumar Yadav, Karan Kalindi, Abhay Pandey, Ashok Yadav, Shashi Yadav, Vijay Yadav, Krishna Yadav, Mukesh Yadav, and Mrityunjay Yadav were present during the event.
The celebration reflected devotion, unity, and reverence for Lord Krishna’s timeless message of truth and righteousness.
