Jamshedpur: City-based social organization Lok Samarpan is going to celebrate its first anniversary at Birsa Munda Town Hall, Sidhgora, on 21st August.
The function will be inaugurated by the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar. The chief guest of the occasion will be SSP Anoop T Mathew. The annual magazine of the outfit will also be released on the occasion.
This was informed by the president of the organization Lalit Das in a hotel at Sakchi on Sunday.
Das said a cultural programme will be organized to mark the first anniversary.
Messages on environment conservation and �Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao� will also be given to the society through a dance drama on the occasion, he said.
Das further said that a short film on the social work done by the organization will also be shown to the people. He said 26 meritorious but economically backward students will be given Rs 5000 along with certificates during the programme.
