Jamshedpur: Rajendra Vidyalaya, Sakchi, ushered in the new academic year 2025-26 with a vibrant orientation program for its youngest learners in LKG, along with students from UKG to Grade 10 and 12. The event, held on Tuesday, celebrated the school’s commitment to holistic education and parental involvement.

“A parent is a teacher at home, and a teacher is a parent in school. The child is the center of our universe,” resonated as the guiding philosophy of the event. The school was adorned with decorations inspired by the National Education Policy (NEP).

The ceremony commenced with the dignitaries of Rajendra Vidyalaya, a unit of Bihar Association, garlanding the idol of Goddess Saraswati. To make the event engaging, themed activity corners—Squishy Sand and Chunky Blocks, Playful Palette, Giggly Grids, and Little Learners Library—were set up. A selfie and music corner added to the excitement. Students also received stationery kits from their teachers.

Principal Anita Tiwari warmly welcomed the children and handed them toffees as a token of affection. The event was a grand success, supported by Bihar Association members, Vice Principal Piyali Mukherjee, senior and primary in-charges, and the dedicated teaching staff.
