Jamshedpur, Oct 18: Dayanand Public School (DPS) organised an inter-school kindergarten fest, “Tiny Tunes and Tales,” celebrating creativity, learning, and joy among young learners. The vibrant event brought together around 300 pre-primary students, along with their parents, from various schools across the city.
The school campus buzzed with excitement as children from Nursery to UKG participated in fun-filled activities designed to encourage learning through play. The fest featured nearly 15 engaging events, including Diya painting, Diwali card making, and lantern crafting, aimed at enhancing children’s cognitive, social, and motor skills.
The event was graced by Gian Taneja, Chairman, Siksha Samity; Rajiv Talwar, Vice Chairman, Siksha Samity; and Principal Swarna Mishra, along with distinguished guests from other schools.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a special “Fashion Show: Festive Mood” was organised for both students and their parents. The ramp turned into a colourful display of creativity and confidence as participants showcased vibrant festive attire representing various cultural traditions.
Principal Swarna Mishra expressed joy at the enthusiastic participation and said the fest aimed to provide a platform where children could express themselves freely while learning in a happy and supportive environment.
