Jamshedpur, Oct 30: Little Hearts School for the first time organised virtual camps for children as young as three years to 12 year old. The camp titled ‘Tickles’ was for 3-5 years and ‘Explore Space’ for 6-12 year olds. A total of 75 children logged in including some from Kolkata and Pune. A unique add- on was also initiated- a Virtual Race for the children where, for an hour a pedometer was strapped onto them and there were 3 winners who had maximum number of step counts.
Rubina Bodhanwala, principal, Little Hearts School, said that the long lockdown for the COVID-19 pandemic has closed schools but it has ushered in the citywide classroom. The virtual camps were designed in a way to help students utilise and hone their skills.
