Jamshedpur, March 13 : Little Hearts School celebrated �Green Day� by organising several activities for kids. Students were made to learn importance of the colour in different ways including with a ‘ Salad Party’.
Children were mesmerised with a story enacted by teachers. Fruits and vegetables were cut and peeled and given for tasting, a photobooth was created with the Tree of Life and ended with an animated power point presentation.
The came to school dressed in pretty green attire. The children were taught to identify the green vegetables, fruits and nature. They did finger printing activity which made them energetic. It was a practical and was very enjoyable.
� We have been celebrating several events in our campus to educate children. Green Day witnessed overwhelming response. I believe that green is the colour of life, renewal nature and energy. It is associated with meaning of growth, harmony freshness, safety and environment. I congratulate kids and teachers who made the event successful.The classroom and corridors were beautifully decorated in green theme and green balloons,� said Rubina Bodhanwala, principal, Little Hearts School.
