Little Flower School girl Tannishtha Chatterjee wins zonal declamation contest at NHES

Jamshedpur, Aug 5: The premises of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) came alive when students from classes IX and X participated in ASISC zonal declamation contest (Junior Category) held in the school auditorium on Friday. Students from around 26 city schools displayed their oratory skills.

Tannishtha Chatterjee of Little Flower School secured first place. The first runner-up was Sreyan Shankar Bhattacharjee of Kerala Public School, Kadma, and Gufran-E-Azam of Kerala Public School, Mango bagged the third position.

The contest was judged by Meena Bugli, Principal of DBMS Kadma, Harwinder Kaur, Principal of Kerala Public School, Burmamines and Rajkumari Ghosh, HOD (English) of Arka Jain University.

School Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury was all praise for participants and congratulated the students and teachers of all the schools.

The programme was compered by Bhavya Jain (Std 9B) and Bushra Akhtar (Std 8C).

Vice Principal of the school Tandrima Banerjee extended the voter of thanks.
