Aprajita and Hargun of Carmel Junior College clinch ASISC Quiz

23 schools participate in Sub-Junior contest hosted by Sacred Heart Convent

Jamshedpur, Aug 5: Carmel Junior College team comprising Aprajita Aditya and Hargun Bhatia emerged winners in the ASISC (Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate) Sub-Junior Quiz hosted by Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamshedpur, on Friday, August 5.

The winners have qualified for the regional round.

Himanshu Singh and Sumanshu Manna from Kerala Public School bagged the first runner-up position. Namit Sharma and Ahan Roy from Little Flower School were awarded the 3rd prize.

Earlier, quiz enthusiasts of 23 schools participated in the event. In accordance with the Covid-19 guidelines, the safety of the students and everyone present was kept as a priority.

The Quiz Master for the day was Palak Kumar, an entrepreneur and co-founder of Learnaut. His associate Komal, the senior learning consultant at Learnaut, was also present at the event.

After a gruelling Preliminary round, 6 schools were shortlisted for the finals in each category. 

Earlier, the competition commenced with the gruelling Preliminary round followed by the Final round. Kerala Public School, Hill Top School, Little Flower School, DBMS English School, Carmel Junior College and Sacred Heart Convent School were the 6 teams qualified for the Final round.

Multiple exciting questions for the audience were also presented throughout the quiz.
