Crime control a top priority, says Kumar Shivashish
Jamshedpur, Oct 9: Kumar Shivashish, an alumnus of Telco’s Little Flower School (LFS), has been appointed as the new City Superintendent of Police (SP) for Jamshedpur by the Jharkhand government. Shivashish, completed his schooling in the city until his matriculation in 2011. His father, Arun Kumar Mishra, was the Chief Factory Inspector and their family resided in Bistupur’s Bagmati Road before relocating to Ranchi.
Shivashish pursued further studies at IIT Kharagpur, earning a degree computer science between 2013 and 2018. He joined the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 2020 and completed his training in Hazaribagh, later serving as the SDPO there.
The newly appointed City SP expressed his nostalgia for the city and said that crime control would be his primary focus. He plans to work closely with both senior and junior officers to maintain law and order.
