Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district administration received a sum of Rs 5.43 crore in payment from 37 groups for liquor shop bandobasti. Today was the last day for depositing the advance amount in lieu of allotment of shops which took place recently through e-lottery. The allotments of two shops were cancelled due to non-deposition of money. District administration had conducted e-lottery for allotment of liquor shops on 5th March last. A total of 84 shops were allotted to 39 groups. There are a total of 44 foreign liquor shops, 28 country liquor shops and 12 composite shops in the district.
