Jamshedpur, Sep 21: Lions Club of Jamshedpur Femina and other Clubs of Region 1 came together for “Aao Chale Gaon Ki Oar” (Let’s go towards village) campaign. The slogan has been coined by DG MJF Siddharth Mazumdar.
Mahamilan Sevashram Sangh, Salbani, which runs an ashram for orphans, houses 24 kids. Lions Club Region 1 distributed daily essentials including ration, snacks among the kids at the orphanage.
All the clubs of Region 1 participated in the program. Lions Club of Jamshedpur Femina President Sarika Singh, Secretary Suchitra Rungta, Treasurer Pushp Lata and Abha Rungta were present, along with PDG Anand Choudhary, RC Purvi Ghosh, Navneet Choudhary, Stota Das and other club presidents and members were present.
