Lion�s fraternity plants 2000 saplings in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 19: Lions Fraternity of Jamshedpur is always willing to join hands with any organization or individual for a good cause.

Responding to the call of Chief Minister Raghubar Das, a mega plantation drive was taken up by all the societies and NGOs of Jamshedpur. Lions fraternity of Jamshedpur�in association with Jusco at the Marine Drive near Domuhani where more than 2000 saplings were planted.

Seven Lions Clubs of Jamshedpur actively participated in this mega project. Lions Club of Jamshedpur, Lions Club of Jamshedpur North, Lions Club of Jamshedpur Tatanagar, Lions Club of Adityapur, Lions Club of Adityapur Greater, Lions Club of Jamshedpur Steel city and Lions Club of Jamshedpur Centenary actively participated.

Members present at the drive included Lions District Governor Rajnish Kumar, past District Governors Sudipto Mukherjee, Anand Choudhury and Nalini Mukherjee, region chairperson Arup Ghosh, zone chairperson Pranati Das, and presidents Vivek Choudhury, Umeshwar Sharma, Nupur Das, Vandana Mishra.

Lion members Manik Ghosh, Sharanjit Kaur, B.P.Singh, Gyan Singh, Nirmal Kaur, Charan Singh, Dhananjay Gupta, Sarita Gupta, Sikandar Singh, Sumit Moonka, Harpreet Kaur, Purabi Ghosh, Seema Bajpai,Santosh Bajpai, Harish Oza, Bhola Sharma, Dr. Tapas Chatterjee, Bina Choudhury, Bivu Verma, Indu Gandhi, Dilip Kunar, M.M.Prasad, Saroja and Surinder Singh also participated in the campaign.

Jusco’s Rajesh Rajan coordinated the entire project.
