Jamshedpur: A new new milestone will be created tomorrow in Jamshedpur with the arrival of Joseph �Joe� Preston of Dewey, Arizona, USA, International First Vice President of Lions Clubs International to Jamshedpur who will be landing at Sonari Airport at 10. 15 AM in a special flight.
He will be accompanied by his wife Joni Preston and a high level team of senior executives of Lions Club International comprising of Lion Sangeeta Jatia, International Director, Past International Director Lion Prem Lahoty, Past International Director, Lion A P Singh, Past International Director Lion Bishnu Bajoria.
It is for the first time any International President of the Association of Lions Clubs International will be landing in Jamshedpur which is going to host the 41st Multiple District 322 Convention on 19-20 April after a gap of 13 years. They will attend the 41st Multiple District 322 Convention to be held on 19 – 20 April at Tata Auditorium, XLRI in which one thousand Lions clubs members from whole of Eastern India and Bhutan will be attending the event.
Multiple 322 has eleven Lions Districts with 28,000 Lion members spread over in 794 Lions clubs of which 27 per cent are women. Tomorrow Joseph �Joe� Preston, First Vice President of Lions Clubs International will have a Press Meet at 5 PM at Alcove II, Hotel Alcor. They will later address the Multiple Council meeting scheduled from 1.30 PM at Hotel Alcor where they all are being put up.
