Lioness Club celebrates Charter Nite

Jamshedpur: Lioness Club of Jamshedpur celebrated its 38th Charter Nite today on the premises of their parent Club Lions Club of Jamshedpur in Bistupur.

Formed in January 1977 the club carries out various social service projects either independently or in association with Lions Club of Jamshedpur.

Today Arti Pandey on behalf of the club presented a sewing machine to a lady from Sonari who was facing difficulty in rearing up their family. Sewing machine will help her generate incomes for her family.

Past District Governor Nalini Mukherjee who was the chief guest, Kanchan Singh, First Vice District Governor and Ranish Kumar, Second Vice District Governor graced the occasion and appreciated the Lioness members for their commitment and dedication in taking care of the underprivileged.

They urged the Lioness members to take up more responsibilities in the realm of social initiatives. On the occasion Charter Member Lioness Sheela Mathur was felicitated.
