Jamshedpur, March 24: The Director of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) Regional Training Center Vivekanand Pradhan met the Dean of XLRI's Administration and Finance Department Donald D'Silva and Academic Dean Prof. Sanjay Patra on Friday. He said the purpose of the meeting was to provide vocational training to the employees of LIC.
According to Pradhan, a detailed discussion was held with the Dean of XLRI about various vocational training courses for LIC employees. He said training is provided to about 15,000 LIC officials and employees of Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha every year in the regional training center of LIC. XLRI provides training in various professional courses. The LIC employees should also get benefit of such training, he said..
An agreement will be entered between LIC and XLRI regarding training of LIC employees, said Pradhan.
Officers of LIC Regional Training Center BP Lenka and Aditya Mohan Jha were present on the occasion along with the Director.
