Jamshedpur, April 18: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Jamshedpur Division has created history consecutively for the second year in a row. Sr. Divisional Manager, Ratnakar Patnaik informed that in the financial year 2016-17 , the Division surpassed its budget on all three counts.
It achieved the total premium income of 390.29 cr against the budget of 303 cr thus registering 128.80 % achievement. It sold 185077 new policies. It earned 228.35 cr Single premium and 161.94 cr regular premium against the budget of 139.00 cr and 164.00 cr respectively.
Jamshedpur Division achieved the No. 1 position in the entire country in regular premium growth rate with a robust increase of 22.50 %. For the first time in Division�s History, all the 19 Branches and 13 Satellite Offices achieved their TFPI budget.
The P&GS unit of the division surpassed Rs. 1000 cr in total premium income. Another feather in the Division�s cap is 74 MDRTs and 12 fast track MDRTs, which is remarkable achievement. Sr. Divisional Manager Patnaik thanked the Division�s more than 10000 agents, 250 Development Officers, 250 CLIAs and 1200 Officers and Staffs for this grand achievement.
He also expressed his gratitude to all the existing and new customers for their continuous trust and support to the Corporation.
