Jamshedpur, Dec. 20: Little Flower School (LFS) was transformed into Christmas wonderland on Friday, December 20, illumined with festive lights and Christmas figures, all contributing to the joy of the season.

The occasion was the play put up by Little Flower School – Love Is All We Need, an adaptation of The Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. It was a story of a wrenching, grasping, covetous old sinner Ebenezer Scrooge, representing greed, selfishness, indifference and bitter apathy towards people with limited means represented by the struggling Cratchet family. The three middle staves of the classic were carefully selected and presented as the spirit of Christmas past representing memory, Christmas Present representing sympathy and charity, and finally the grim reaper, the spirit of Christmas yet to come representing the fear of death.

Each of the characters – Uncle Scrooge, Fred Hollowel, Marle and others – were played out beautifully by the students of Little Flower School. The dance of the ghosts, the dance of merriment, the Christmas dance, the costume and colour coordination – all kept the audience engrossed and at the edge of their seats in excited suspense.

The accompanying choir singing Christmas carols, one after the other, immaculately, had everyone watching and listening in awe. One and a half hours later, the audience left the auditorium in absolute admiration for the wonderful stage management, sound and light and visual effects that they hadnt witnessed in a long, long time.
