LFS student tops Jharkhand in ICSE exam with 98.6 per cent

Jamshedpur : Students of Steel City once again proved their mettle in the class 10th ICSE examination conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi. Siddharth Shankar Kahli , a student of Little Flower School topped the city as well as Jharkhand with 98.6 per cent marks in the class 10th ICSE examination.

The most surprising quality of the topper is that he never took tuitions since his childhood and has studied himself and remains away from the social media.

I am happy with my performance. I never took tuitions and studied myself. I was keeping my fingers crossed and I am happy that my efforts have brought cheers for my family. I want to pursue my career in the field of mechanical engineering from IIT , said the proud son of Tata Motorss DGM Suprio Kahli.

Busy receiving calls from friends and media, Siddharth said that he owes his success to hard work and routine study.

Following footsteps of his father (a mechanical engineer from IIT Kharagpur) he is already focused on the next destination – IIT. I want to pursue career in the field of engineering and IIT is the ultimate goal, said Siddharth, expressing satisfaction over the results.

Meanwhile Sister Hilda D’Souza, principal of LFS said: Our students have shown their mettle in the academic fields. We wish them all the best for their future.

Meanwhile scorching heat failed to dampen the spirits of the achievers as the internet cafes witnessed a huge rush on today as curious students thronged the cyber houses to know the results.
