Jamshedpur, Nov 16: There is no doubt that sports day is a very memorable day of a student life. Sports, regular exercises, games, yoga etc are making human being healthy.
Sports is all about the health of body, mind and spirit. It plays an important role in personality development. Keeping this in mind 48th Annual Sports Meet of Little Flower School (LFS) was organised on 16th November 2013. The sports events were distributed over the day giving scope to participation of the entire student population.
The students enthusiastically participated in various team and singles events like athletics, Tug-of-war, March past, Drill etc. Green, Blue and Red house dominated the proceedings as Green House won the Tug- of War (Girls), Blue House were the winners of the Tug of War (Boys).
At the athletic championship (Girls) Green house was the winner while Blue House won the boys event. Team Red were the winners of the Inter House March Past, Green House were the winners of Stephie Sequeira Memorial Trophy for the Inter House Drill. Shroddha Goswami was adjudged the winner of the Vipin Tomar Memorial Trophy for the best captain.
At the end Green House was crowned winners of the general Championship Trophy. The Sports Meet concluded with the prize distribution ceremony.
