Laxity will not be tolerated: Sunil Burnwal

Ranchi, Feb. 9: Sunil Burnwal, Secretary to CM asserted that Government is not going to tolerate delay in the cases of compensation payment.

He added that Govt. is concerned for speedy disbursal of compensations and pension dues. Mr. Burnwal cautioned that officials dealing with these cases will be punished if found guilty for delay.

He was reviewing JAN SAMVAD Complaints today at Soochna Bhawan Ranchi. During review meeting he had a video conference with the concerned District Officials.

While dealing with Road accident insurance claim of dependent of Bachhan Saw of Bokaro, Mr.Burnwal ordered the nodal officer to take action against the Officer In charge and sought an explanation from the concerned DY. SP. He also ordered to report about the delay of Police Officials to DGP.

In this review meeting, there was a complaint from Chatra district in which it was reported that Julal Das is a PDS Dealer as well as a Para Teacher. Mr. Burnwal ordered the concerned authority to suspend him from both the places. He also directed to take legal action against the official concerned who helped Julal Das.

In the review meeting Mr. Burnwal took congnigence in the murder case of Rashid Khan from Jamshedpur and directed to transfer this case to CID for speedy disposal. Mr Burnwal directed the Nodal Officer to look into the case of Ishwardayal Mahto of Ramgarh who allegedly made house and encroached the Govt. tube well. Mr Burnwal ordered for removal of the said encroachment and start legal action against the encroacher.

In the review meeting there was a complaint from Dumka in which it is alleged that PDS Dealer Nageshwar has done some irregularities. Mr Burnwal directed the Nodal Officer to cancel his license immediately.

In the review meeting there were many complaints regarding delay in compensations. Mr. Burnwal directed the concerned officials to do the needful after hearing all the 18 complaints.
