Latehar Police foil JJMP militant plot: Three arrested with weapons

Latehar: Latehar Police successfully apprehended three militants associated with the banned organization JJMP (Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad) in a recent operation, leading to their subsequent imprisonment. Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan shared details of the operation in a press conference held at his office.
The operation unfolded on the night of December 24th when the police received intelligence that Pappu Lohra, the head of JJMP, and Sub Zonal Commander Lovelesh Ganjhu were present at the residence of Kamlevar Singh alias Guru Ji in Nareshgarh village, under the jurisdiction of Sadar police station. The militants were reportedly accompanied by an armed squad that included members such as Jitendra Singh alias Bajrangi Ji, Prabhat Ji, Suraj Kumar Lohra alias Sarvnash Ji, and Anil Lohra.
In response to the credible information, a raid team, led by SDPO Santosh Kumar Mishra, was swiftly assembled. The operation resulted in the successful apprehension of three militants associated with the JJMP. The arrested individuals were found in possession of weapons and other materials.
During the press conference, Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan commended the prompt and efficient response of the police force in curbing the activities of the banned militant organization. The arrested militants will face legal proceedings as they are sent to jail.
