Ranchi : Uninor has today announced its largest ever network expansion with the deployment of 5000 additional network sites in its six circles of UP West, UP East, Bihar (including Jharkhand), Maharashtra and Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.
This is a 30% expansion of network sites in one go � the largest ever since launch of operations and will be completed within the next 5 months. With this expansion, Uninor will have close to 24,000 network sites deployed across its six circles with an ability to cover 5 crores or 50 million additional population in these regions.
The expansion announcement comes on the back of Uninor achieving breakeven by proving the sustainability of its operating model.
