Ranchi: Naxalites triggered a landmine explosion in Lat Panchayat of Barwadih in Latehar district of Chatra Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday.
No casualty was reportedly in the incident. Polling continued despite the explosion. Sources said the explosion was carried out to cause panic among voters.
In another incident, police recovered a cylinder bomb planted near Kendua Sahor Middle School in Rajpur police station area. The bomb was diffused by the bomb squad.
